Q&As to Omar Park Homes. To Find Out What Distinguishes Them From Their Competitors

Posted on 23/05/2016 by Parklands

A couple of weeks ago we put a set of questions together and distributed them to main park home manufacturers. The questions were aimed out helping you understand each of the park home manufacturers a bit better – and what differentiates them. Last week, we published Prestige Park Home’s/Homeseeker’s response. This week, it’s Omar Park Homes/Wessex.

Whereabouts are you based and can people come and visit your factory?
Omar is based in Brandon, Suffolk where there is a showground available for visitors to view a number of residential park homes and lodges. To book an appointment to view, please call 01842 810 673.

What’s your most popular park home? (And why do you think that is?)
Omar has a large range of new park homes and floor plans to choose from, from the affordable Regency, to the top-of-the-range Heritage which won Park Home of the Year in 2014. Designed in celebration of Omar’s 50th Anniversary, and voted by the public as Park Home of the Year 2015, the Anniversary, although only recently launched, is a very popular model and brings with it a completely new concept in layout and interior design.

Do you have plans to release any new park home models? (If so when? And what can we expect?)
New models soon to be unveiled include: the 2016 Regency park home, the all-new Elveden Cottage, the all-new 2016 Sheringham park home and the 2016 Sandringham park home. Visit The National Park & Holiday Homes Show, Newbury Showground from 20th to 22nd May (Stand 19P) and The World Of Park & Leisure Homes Show, Stoneleigh from 10th to 12th June (Stand M5), so see these exciting new models for yourself.

In relation to EPC (Energy Performance Certificate), how energy efficient are your homes with conserving heat and helping to save on energy bills?
Our homes are not required to be issued with an EPC, however, as an industry we all provide an energy calculation developed and monitored by the NCC. As with SAP every home can have a different rating due to its dimensions, heating system, windows and doors etc. The attached example certificate shows the energy efficiency of our Heritage park home.

What do you think distinguishes you from other park home manufacturers?
Omar is the leading manufacturer of park homes and luxury lodges with a reputation built upon 50 years of manufacturing excellence.

All of our homes and lodges are built to residential standard BS3632. This means they are suitable for residential use throughout the year and are built to last at least 50 years! All homes and lodges built to this standard are required to be energy efficient and also come with a long-term structural warranty giving you peace of mind.

Our interiors have a choice of intelligent floor layouts to suit individual needs and are right up to date with stunning interior design.
